Dennis is the author of several journal articles and booklets in the field of disabilities but has never been able to kick the feeling that he was meant to make up things rather than analyze them. Bridging the gap between professional writing and fiction are his two books, Mount Holly: A Hometown Reinvented, and Parallel Communities: The Underground Railroad in South Jersey, both for History Press. A Christmas Conspiracy, a historical novel, is complete and available at Amazon and Kindle, and he has been piecing together a mystery series set in the US Civil War. He retired in 2010 and move to Ontario (Canada, not California) with his family. He's enjoying the inspirational surroundings very much.
In addition to the tasks of managing twin 6-year-old girls, a crotchity Carin Terrier and new Doodle puppy, he tries valiantly to participate in the Orillia Community Kitchen effort as well as MWG.
He goes to Barrie tomorrow (Dec 8 - a date which will live in Canadian infamy) to get his permanent resident status approved and his OHIP application will follow within a few minutes. Moooohahahaha - now I am legal - well, sort of.
